Cynoglossum officinale
Cynoglossum officinale, commonly known as hound’s tongue, is a plant that is native to Europe. C. officinale was introduced to North America and has been found in British Columbia primarily in the regions of the Okanagan, Kootenays and Thompson/Caribou regions.
This species is a special concern for agricultural lands due to is toxicity to animals. It has been declared a noxious weed under the BC Weed Control Act (1996).
